The seniority of each product team impacts how specific you should be when assigning team objectives.
And how much additional context you should add next to them.
Few product leaders understand this and many have a one-size-fits-all mindset when crafting objectives for their teams.
However,
Junior product teams tend to thrive with more specific and, sometimes even, tactical objectives.
More senior product teams tend to appreciate broader and more strategic ones. In other words, higher-level customer and business outcomes.
Contextualizing and having this in mind before assigning objectives is important.
